The quote form asks for your name, a phone number, your postcode, the type of work needed and your timescale, plus an email address if you choose to give one. We also log which page the enquiry was sent from.

Why we collect it

So that roofing firms covering your postcode can contact you with a quote. That is the purpose you supply it for, and consent is the lawful basis we rely on.

Who receives it

Up to three vetted roofing contractors that cover your postcode and carry out the type of work you asked about. From the moment an enquiry reaches them they are independent data controllers with their own duties under data protection law.

We also rely on ordinary suppliers, website hosting and the system we use to manage enquiries among them. Your details are not sold to unrelated companies and they are not handed to glazing, solar, insurance or finance businesses.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are held for up to 24 months, so that any question or complaint about a job can be dealt with, and are deleted after that.

Your rights

Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Consent can be withdrawn whenever you like.

Email quotes@roofersinwisbech.co.uk and it will be dealt with inside a month. If the answer does not satisfy you, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk takes complaints.
